An exciting opportunity exists for someone with hands-on SEO and forum support experience at Dotcom Consultancy Ltd.

DotCom Consultancy Ltd is a successful and expanding digital publisher, best known for BlackHatWorld.com, one of the biggest internet forums focused on SEO and digital marketing techniques and services. With a community of over 6 million users and 73 million page views a year (GA stats Feb 2024), Blackhatworld.com allows members to share ideas and seek advice from each other in digital marketing and digital business ownership.

The successful candidate will use their previous experience in digital marketing and supporting online forums to closely engage with the BlackHatWorld community to ensure members receive the best experience when utilising the platform. Hands-on expertise in SEO is essential as the role includes testing the many products on our marketplace. Marketplace services include copywriting, graphic design, web design, and SEO. Including both on-page and off-page optimisation, social media marketing and app development.

Key Responsibilities

• Support of the BlackHatWorld forum
• Review and test digital marketing products and services (including link-building, social media products, hosting solutions, web design, graphic design)
• Support online marketplace
• Support the moderator community
• Address support queries and provide forum-based customer support
• Follow processes to optimise workflow and increase efficiency

Skills & Experience – Essential

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, including the ability to communicate in written form
• A particular understanding of online community management
• Proven knowledge of link-building strategies and social media, PBNs, guest posting links, niche edits and link-building services
• Proven knowledge of SEO strategies in general
• Review products and services related to digital marketing to ensure they are as advertised.
• Ability to clearly communicate in written English

Skills & Experience – Desirable

Knowledge and proven experience in one or more of the following areas/tools:

• Support platforms (ideally Freshdesk)
• Forums (ideally Xenforo)
• Link-building
• Social Media management
• Hosting services
• Affiliate marketing
• Proxies, VPS, VPN
• Web Design
